The Volunteer for Spay Program was set up to assist low-income cat owners to be responsible cat owners and spay or neuter their cat. With the ever-rising costs of veterinary fees, many families are finding it harder to have their cat fixed to prevent unwanted kittens. Many of these kittens end up at shelters and euthanized or on farms to eventually die of neglect.

The program is simple: volunteer 20 hours at one of our booths or donate a few hours to working a bingo or a barbecue. As long as you show up for all your scheduled hours, we will spay or neuter your cat at one of our vets for free. If you don’t show up when promised, you lose all your hours before and must start over.
